How these are made

I used to sell these out of a shop on King Street in downtown Charleston. People would try on four or five and leave with one — always a different one.

Every ring is made by hand: a textured brass band, 22K gold-plated, with three semi-precious stones set one at a time into bezels shaped around each stone. That is why no two are alike. The color, the pattern, the way the light moves across a stone — every ring comes out a little different.

Now they go out from here instead. Every ring is checked, boxed and shipped by me.
